As always, Suomi is handpainted and the sculpts were custom created and are unique to Suomi. The shape of the coat is whimsical, with rose-like fabric accents around the waist and mandarin-style shoulder pads. The fabric has a subtle moon and stars pattern and once again highlights Ghanima’s love for vibrant, almost metallic, textures. Suomi comes in black, red, purple, teal, and gold, as well as the whitegoth colors white, purple, green, blue, and pink. As usual, +++Blue Blood+++ group members receive a 50% discount on the fatpacks, and have two special group only colors; this week it’s the darkgoth purple and whitegoth green.

A good red outfit, just in time for Valentine Day, this is Hot Stuff, from Kayliwulf Kingdom.

The nice red fluff on the top is some of Lazarus’s best work, like the pom-poms in the cheerleader’s outfit.

Tricky stuff, fur, with a high prim load, but worth it. Just don’t wear it to a fashion show, the models will kill you

The toe sandals look good as always, but require a bit of management. See lelo’s bit for details.

With this one you get a nicely filled box with 19 items, ok 3 of those are notecards.

Still next to the simple but good looking outfit you get 2 pairs of shoes and some nice jewelry.

One pair is a nice red version of the strap sandals and the other are the strap pumps featured with the Time Square outfit.

A little note on the strap sandals: don’t forget to wear the invisifeet with them, or you’ll see your feet peeking out at every side while you walk around.

The jewelry consists of a pair of ruby earrings and a bellybutton ring.

The bra with the flared pants leave more than enough of your belly exposed to show off your ruby bellybutton ring.

The fuzzy bodice is a lag monster with a render cost of 3407, but it looks ooh so good.

So nice basic outfit with a couple of great extras that will fill out your wardrobe.

Les Girls!

I got my hands on these a few days ago via the I<3SL group, but it’s taken me a little while to get around to blogging them, but here they are. Another one of those Little Things I enjoy in the game are novelty t-shirts. I’d really love some decent templates to make my own too, but I can’t seem to get them to work when I’ve bought them on the grid. Alas, perhaps it’s not to be. I’ll just wear these ones instead, they’re only L! Ch ch check em out.

OK, first off – I have been away a bit; I haven’t blogged or read others’ blogs, so this may have been covered to death, who knows?  But, have you started the Tainted Love Hunt?  I’ve only hit a few of the stores  - maybe the first 10 – and I’ve already found some interesting, disturbing, and totally awesome items.  This is Bellissima’s (Stop No. 6) prize.  Almost all items shown are included – the dress (with both a ballgown and lolita skirt), the gloves, the hat, and the choker, but also the eyes (6 different creepy pairs!), the hair, and the tattooed skin.  And for a bonus you get the bloody beating heart in a jar!  Lookee….

The “liquid” in the syringes swirls, too.  And that heart in the next photo – blood spatters drip down the glass and the heart beats.  oooooooo

Oddly disturbing, no?  hee hee.  This outfit just screams:  You broke my heart, so I’ve taken yours (and put it in a jar).

Oh man, when I heard about them… I got all excited.  When I saw them, I nearly asploded!  Urbanity has released a new skin line, Cute as a Button, and I got my hands on a pack to give you a peek!

The skin comes in 4 different skin tones.  Each skin tone then comes in 7 different makeups!  Each makeup then comes in 2 different versions, a freckled, and a nonfreckled face.

I LOVE THEM!

Ok… now look close and see if you can guess my FAVORITE addition to the skin… closer… closer… keep looking… thats right! Those darn dimples… right there on either side of the mouth, they are way too cute.  I guess thats part of how they got the name eh?

The lips are all very natural and glossed, and the eyelids are very detailed, a nice addition to an already nice skin.  The brows are another thing I truly love about it, they aren’t too thin, and aren’t too thick… they are perfectly waxed… something I have come to appreciate.

I had no trouble adjusting my shape to fit the skin to my liking, and the skins come with a shape for those more mod challenged.

Long story short, go grab a demo or two and try before you buy… but definitely buy. <3

Fashion Hoard Chronicles

And women too I suppose…
I’ve wanted to do a man post for a while now… but… I’m lazy and didn’t feel like converting Shay to a man, or buying all new shit for an alt.  Thus cue grabbing the guy friends.  Since I’m uber picky, it narrowed it down to a few, and knowing Mac here (Mac Heron) has a flair for fashion (when I say flair I should specify he is straight, and taken, sorry ladies and gents) , along with much of the grids top designs it was a no brainer.  Thanks to him fo putting up with me long enough to get these shots! <3

What made this shoot so easy, is that when Mac showed up… he was ready, I didn’t have to change anything!  Men with fashion sense are so underrated on the grid!

The first thing I’d really like to point out with Mac’s look, is his skin.  AtomicBambi recently released a line of man skins, and I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised.  The moment I saw them I knew I wanted to blog them one way or another.  Lucky for me Mac already had one, so I didnt have convince him to spend precious L.   The skins are really well made, and not too pretty boy like many male skins out there.  They have a very natural shading to them, I did my best to show some angles here.  The skin is a bargain, with 8 versions per pack, combinations of bald, hair base , freckles, and body hair.

Another thing… his shirt.  The first thing I commented on when he arrived.  If this would fit me well, I’d so wear it.  Erm… but for you manly men it’s still way manly enough for you and you can ignore that a chic just said she’d wear it… kkthnx.  It is very well made though, and the shading is perfect.  With sculpted stomach and collar, it’s one of the nicest guy pieces I’ve seen in some time.

As for the rest, we’ll skip ahead and let you take a look for yourself.

Remember a long time ago, when Clear and I debated making poses for a SL living? Well, we stopped for a while and kind of let it slip to the back burner. Well I was going through some of the awesomesauce goodies from the Tainted Love Hunt and found what could quite possibly be one of my new favorite outfits. The Valentines Curse outfit from Bellissima is not only absolutely beautiful but comes with sooo much. ( Including long and short skirt options so you could literally wear this anywhere ^.^)

Included with the dress is literally everything you will need.. several eye choice, hair, cute little hat, even skin! I just cannot go on enough about how much I love this one hehe. Also, I totally opened it on the right day because it goes absolutely perfectly with the new Gothica AO from Creative Insanity. I absolutely adore just about every one of their AOs but this one is certainly a new favorite. Seriously, go check out the demos.. it is super hawt <3

sound: so light is her footfall (breakbot remix) – air. breakbot gets me every time. it’s awesomesauce. yes… i just said awesomesauce.

was in a bit of a funky, hippy-ish, grunge mood today… thus the hair and the badass leather jacket – as well as all the other shit i’m wearing to put this look together. i’m sort of obsessed with milk motion’s stumblebum brigade item, an exclusive white/stars version of the infamous loose t-shirt. it’s playful and flirty, perfect to contrast with a blunt and studded leather jacket. as for the bottom, these new poison bleach jeans really did the trick with tears and shadows in all the right places. as for the skirts… busted out the orange lmk skirt i got from halloween (but available at polina kaestner’s store now) to pair it with this plaid number i got from muism that i never got to wear. last but not least… ribbon booties from gfield in a nice tame shade of camel. well, that was all for me. i always tend to blog at this time – about one to two hours past midnight. so i’m pooped. gnite all .

i just had to have the new nomine milkmaid dress…it is so gorgeous and sexy and it comes in several colors. juana has gotten several compliments wearing it, and i would highly recommend going out and buying all of them myself. amusingly enough when i donned the dress, it put me in a bit of a valentine’s day mood, but in my case that means laughing at necrophilia. it did remind me a little of what a lonely girl working at a morgue might wear. or at least my idea of what a lonely girl working at a morgue might wear.

i was encouraged/joined/enabled in this jollity by the ever fabulous recidivist sideways, who volunteered to play the dead guy. we were also supervised very carefully by the diabolically fashionable Rev Eponym (who was observing off camera).  i have mentioned before that Liqueur Felix has the coolest images and flickr site for browsing for new places, and it is there that i found the slurl to Ben’s Morgue in the Wastelands.
