A few days ago, I said that I would be showing you more outfits from AVid, which totally does not get the attention it deserves.  So, today, I’m showing you one of the most dramatic outfits in the store.  Are you feeling dramatic?  Do you want every heard to turn when you enter the room?  There is statement jewelry, but this is a statement outfit, perfect for a masquerade, or a vampire ball.  Take a look at some of the wear options with this outfit.

Darwin Mizser has packed this outfit with so many pieces, you’ll spend a merry hour mixing and matching.  Ok I exaggerate a bit, but still…  The Raven comes with arm bands; beak; bindi; boots; choker with attached wings; choker without wings; corset; prim feathered dress top; fingernails; skirt base; gloves; feathered hat; mask; mini-tutu on two attachment points; shoulder prims; two pairs of stockings – ripped and very ripped; tail feathers; lace top; and garters.  Phew!  I’m wearing almost all the options except the mask, bindi, and beak above.  I’m also wearing the very ripped stockings.  Let’s see some more options.

Here I’m wearing the bindi, the choker without the attached wings, the tail feathers and tu-tu, the hat, and the less ripped stockings.  I’ve also taken off the corset for the photos to the right.  Showing a bit of tummy through the lace is sexah!  Ok, one more… this is the most dramatic.  You’ll be totally ready for the masquerade in this one.

Here, I’m wearing the full outfit, plus the feathered mask and beak – drama!  Most people think that AVid only makes leather outfits – but you can see here that’s not the case.  The feather textures are extremely realistic, like everything at AVid.

As I mentioned on the official Blue Blood blog, Ghani has changed the riotvendor again.  She sure does keep it interesting, doesn’t she?  The new outfit is not a new release, but it is a popular older outfit – the Acha dress in dark goth pink.  I love this dress!  Look what I did with it!

Horns! Tippytoes Ponyboots!  I love this!  And look at all the options available with this dress:  two corset options (pink or black); undershirt (pink); jacket (black); gloves;  jacket collar and sleeves; two skirts (all pink or pink with black); pink socks; and pink knickers.  You can even be very bold and remove the pink undershirt and wear only the underbust corset for a boob-baring look.  I’m trying to keep this a family blog.  Here’s another look at Acha in Pink.

The hair is from TRUTH – a newer style called Layla which has nice color-change streaks.  The skin is again from Sn@tch – have I mentioned enough how much I love Ivey’s new Solstice skins?  I can’t wait for her to make more makeups for it.  Ok… still a bit brain-dead, but a shower woke me up enough to write this (I hope).  So, I’ll close by saying get over to Blue Blood and call your friends and groups and maybe you’ll get that vendor to give up this gorgeous, versatile dress at a bargain price.  Just don’t tarry; you never know when Ghani will change the Riotvendor prize again.

There is an event going with some amazing shops and designers, who have created exclusive items.  The build for the event befits a Potter’s Field – the term used for a graveyard for indigent or unknown people.  It is gloomy, dark, and creepy.

Nomine’s Potter’s Field Gown comes with two skirts (one with a belt adorned with black roses, and the other with a bustle), a corset, gloves, long and short sleeves, shrug, and a black rose wreath for your hair.  I was having trouble inworld while taking these pic’s (grrrr fix it already, LL!) and think they came out a bit blurry.  I’m wearing the belted skirt and the shrug above with the long sleeves.  Below, I’m wearing the bustled skirt and short sleeves in one pic, and taken off the shrug in the other.  This is sexy stuff!

Ok.. my brain is fried from lack of sleep, so before I type something truly inane, I’ll just remind you to take a trip over to the Potter’s Field event, which runs through about mid-August.

This gorgeous outfit would set you back some thousands of dollars in RL… Death Rose – Blood by Inedit is not something your average 18-year old gothette will be wearing on the street.

The long coat has a number of excellent prim details: collar, cuffs, fun leather “ribbons” hanging from the belt – and the belt itself.

The skirt part is resizeable, and it was easy to fit the belt to my narrow waist.

Good leather pants, excellent boots with a brilliant quick-resize menu (six buttons, from XS to XXL, plus “bigger” and “smaller”).

What else? Open-knuckle fingerless gloves, and a wiiiiiide-open corset style top with lace bra cups, and a lovely necklace.. I swear, all you need is hair and you look like a million bucks.

They had us by the leather, some of you might know Mistress has a little thing for leather.

The store is big and offer a wide variety of clothing, female and male clothing alike, with a mainly black theme, so what’s not to like.
