Fashion Hoard Chronicles

Oh I knew the moment I saw these Glitterati poses they had to be mine… and then, my inventory went up by 10.  I watched announcements for their release, and as soon as they were, I came here to blog a couple of my faves for you along with some items I’ve come across and wanted to share.

Linc released this perfectly pink dress for Valentines – in store it’s 50L!  Def worth grabbing.  I tossed this jacket from SD wears over it, I love the loose belt prim.  Theres a random gatcha machine at Needful Things, with tons of these lollis.  I got a matching one on my first try!  Threw on some trusty !O stockings and my Bax boots which are oh so versatile and fab then slid my wrists into my Jasha bangles which go with everything!

And the skin! Oh this skin, you’ll be seeing more of it for sure!  Urbanity just released a new set of  Cute as a Button skins, 4 skin tones, shown above is the Coffee tone.  I love love love this skin so hard!

It’s been a long time since El and Feles had some photo time together, but with some of Kala Bijoux’s beautiful new sculpted wings in their inventories it was time to put a photoshoot on the top of the to-do list.  The Twig Fairy wings and Raphael Angel wings gave them a great base to build their looks around.

They ran off to our favorite fantasy clothing store, because we knew that Delora Starbrook of Haven Designs would have just the thing. Her cuts are always unique and sexy, her fabrics are rich and her flexi has just the right amount of movement.

I really love how the two of them can stick to one photo’s theme, but each bring to it their strong personalities; anyone who knows El and Feles knows just how perfectly their personalities are expressed here. El is full of whimsy with a little bit of sass mixed in (hah a little?) so the asymmetrical cut and slightly tattered flexi of Haven’s Tink was an obvious choice. Feles was a bit undecided, but El pushed her towards the Qadesh silks in red, which is almost as fierce as Feles herself.

Also worth a special mention is this post is El’s jewelery from Illusions. She acquired the Hedera set a few pieces at a time, and is still kicking herself in the ass for not just buying the whole set when it debuted at the jewelry fair. The ivy wraps around arms and legs and neck, and is perfectly sculpted and textured. The actual color of the leaves is green, but El was able to tint the leaves blue to match her look.

Good morning. I’ve already been to work and back! I spent my morning restocking the shelves of a certain retail store, sighing as I answered incessant questions about a highly publicized new product… No, it isn’t out yet, darnit. 50-ish more days. I’ve been delighted recently by the dreadlocks coming from Tukinowaguma. This is the second one I’ve bought, and I like how they’ve constructed it — soft and thick-looking, perfect for catching sand on the beach. My cardigan is a new one from Ki2. Tee hee, Kiki named it “unisexual cardigan” — I’ll try. The necklace is the neat “hopeless” rosary from House of Darcy, a delicate chain with a skull on it. Alas. Les Girls!

I’ve been listening to Britney Spears’ “Circus” and it’s a song that goes well with the new items from OMFG, AtomicBambi, Modd G., and a new (to me) skin store called Candydoll. The outfit I’m wearing is from (OMFG) and it’s called Ringleader because the sim the store is on (along with AtomicBambi and a host of others) has a theme called: Le Cirque. You can see the sim kind of in the pictures I took. I would have shot more, but there was a girl on there taking pictures and yeah, kinda awkward. I wish there were stockings that came with this outfit and I wish the hat was wearable.

But I did manage to get some good shots! The shoes are the latest creation from Modd.G. and are called Emily pumps. They are the first shoe creation from the store and they come in six different colors.

The skin is from a store called CandyDoll. I’ll always applaud people who know how to make skins because I don’t know how to do it and I won’t even pretend to. I can barely edit the starlight skin mods. I’ll always applaud people, but I have to be 100 percent honest here, this skin makes me feel like a barbie doll. There’s nothing wrong with that@ The Abella skin is what I’m wearing in this post. I wish there was a more neutral skin for this because I’m not used to wearing this much make up. I like the quirkiness of the lips, but I feel like I’m doing the zoolander face. Abella is a very pretty face though. It’s worth a demo.

so originally, i intended to make an all pink and nude look as it seems that nude and feminine style is all the rage lately irl – but as i was styling away, the look turned out to end up a little different than expected! when glow’s baggy pants were released, i instantly fell in love – for those who know me, know that i’m a big sucker for stylish “low-crotched” or baggy pants lol. and surprisingly, i decided to dust off my spiked bare ava stiletto moodys and slip them on. they seemed to have worked with this look. so floral baggy pants, light denim vest, a luxurious studded leopard scarf wrapped around the hair and neck, and aoharu’s tweed coat in red. i’m happy … and have to say, also pretty tired so i’m off to bed. nite nite!
